These terms govern your use of the Pantora mobile application ("Pantora," "the app," "we," "us"). By installing or using Pantora, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use Pantora on Apple devices you own or control. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or reverse-engineer the app or attempt to extract its source code.
Pantora requires Sign in with Apple. You are responsible for keeping your Apple ID secure. You agree to provide accurate information during onboarding and to use the app only for lawful purposes.
Pantora Pro is available as a monthly subscription ($6.99/month) or an annual subscription ($49.99/year). The annual plan includes a 7-day free trial for new subscribers.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at the start of each billing period. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can cancel anytime via Apple ID settings: open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, tap Subscriptions, select Pantora Pro, and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep Pro access until the current period ends.
The 7-day free trial is available to new subscribers on the annual plan. If you cancel during the trial period, you will not be charged. Free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be made through Apple's refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com. Pantora does not have the ability to issue refunds directly.
We may change subscription prices in the future. If a price change applies to your subscription, we will notify you in advance, and the new price will only take effect at the start of your next billing period. Continued use after the change indicates acceptance.
Pantora uses AI (OpenAI's models) to identify ingredients from your photos and generate recipes. AI-generated content has important limitations:
Not medical or nutritional advice. Pantora is for general informational purposes only. It is not a substitute for advice from a doctor, registered dietitian, or other qualified health professional. Consult a professional before making significant dietary changes, especially if you have a medical condition, allergies, or dietary restrictions.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that ingredients are fresh, safely stored, and properly prepared. Pantora cannot detect spoilage, contamination, or expired food from photos. When in doubt, throw it out.
If you enable Apple Health sync, Pantora reads and writes dietary energy data via HealthKit. This data is governed by Apple's HealthKit framework and remains under your control. We do not access, store, or share this data outside of your device.
You retain ownership of the photos you scan and the data you provide. By using Pantora, you grant us a limited license to process your photos and data solely to provide the app's functionality. We do not use your content for any other purpose.

Pantora is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pantora and its developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including but not limited to loss of data, dietary outcomes, health consequences, or financial losses. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for Pantora in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may stop using Pantora and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms.
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated terms will be posted at this URL with a new effective date. Material changes will be announced in-app. Continued use of the app after changes indicates acceptance.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
